Higher Power Yoga teaches Yoga to young dancers!

Hi All,
I had the unique opportunity this December to teach yoga to young dancers ages 7-18 years old. What an amazing experience this was for me! One of my clients from CorePower Yoga and Spa, Sarah Steichen, is the coordinator for Prairie School of Dance which is located inside Prairie Lutheran Church. http://www.prairielutheran.org/getconnected.html
What a beauitul space this church has created in their building for young minds and bodies to grow and explore worshipping God thru movement! I couldn’t be happier to come and teach yoga there, luckily the feeling was mutual as I did receive some feedback after the class.
“she was positively glowing afterwards! She loved it and asked when she can go to yoga class! She came home and converted her room into a quiet space candles and yoga mat and all – (permission granted and mom lit candles) then she invited Daddy and Mom to class and they all had yoga in her room! So in a nutshell, I would say it was totally a HIT! : ) She said that it was great because it was relaxing, and they did tons of stretching (which she loves) and the teacher was really nice. She also liked the candles and the ambiance and she has done Wii fit yoga so she knew a bunch of the poses. Home RUN PSOD.”
God is good to me and continues to create avenues where I can read scripture and teach yoga in the same room, pretty incredible if you ask me! I felt very blessed this Christmas for the gift of Light unto the World, I hope you are feeling bountiful blessings in your life too!
